Thin crown pattern provides discretionary weight which is repositioned inside the head to optimize the CG location for higher launch and lower spin.

Ball velocity and overall performance are increased by optimizing the interaction of the variable face thickness and the body of the club head. The sole design and aggressively sloped crown contribute to improved energy transfer for added distance.

The larger profile head allowed PING engineers to design a taller face which increases the effective hitting area. The face height also provides for a more aggressively angled, deeper crown for greater energy transfer.
